The Donna Hat is now available everywhere - here on the website, on Ravelry, and on Etsy. It is probably my favorite hat that I have ever knit/designed and way up there with favorite design of all time as well. It's so cozy and soft & so wonderfully my mother & I just want to make a million of them!
In other, more bleh news: this week has been a lot of things - the biggest one that I would say is divisive. This election was bad for everyone, and quite honestly no one is happy. I understand the pain, frustration, and confusion that so many people are feeling but I don't understand the response of hate that has come out from all sides the past few days. I think we all need some goodness & joy, & most importantly this:
"If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other." Mother Theresa
That woman was/is a saint (literally) and her words are something I think we all need to remember. So go hug your family or a stranger (in a non creepy way), and try to find some positivity in the world today!
Here are some things I can think that are positive:
- It finally feels like Fall! Sweater weather! Bless that!
- Coffee & tea both exist & although they are different they still both have good qualities & people can like both of them & we can all get along (see what I'm getting at there?)
- Freesia Fibers is having a sale!
I don't know what to call the sale because quite frankly it's a mix of "I think people need knit therapy" & "it finally feels like Fall & I'm so excited about it & people need their knitwear" & "it's Friday hooray!" and those are all super long titles for a sale.
Use the promo/coupon code everythingsale on each of the sites to get 20% off your entire order. This will run through Monday (11/14) night so enjoy it! And go hug someone today!
