Fit to size a 12"x18" pillow insert, this pattern gives the option of knitting in the round for an all-knit pillow or knitting one side and seaming to fabric of your choice.

SIZING
– One size; to fit 12"x18" pillow insert
Fiber
Option 1: Flat (with sewn back)
– Approximately 100 yds each Y1, Y2, Y3 (300 yards total) DK weight yarn; each yarn split into two balls (Y1A-B, Y2A-B, Y3A-B)
– Sample: Brooklyn Tweed Arbor; Light pillow: Y1: Hammock, Y2: Thaw, Y3: Driftwood; Dark pillow: Y1: Gale, Y2: Heron, Y3: Humpback
– One 12"x18" pillow insert
– 1/2 yard cotton or linen fabric for backing
– Sewing machine, thread, & pins
Option 2: Round (entirely knit)
– Approximately 200 yds each Y1, Y2, Y3 (600 yards total) DK weight yarn; each yarn split into two balls (Y1A-B, Y2A-B, Y3A-B)
– One 12"x18" pillow insert
Needles & Notions
