This post is a result of a crazy busy week - which means I'm combining everything all into one! We have a new pattern release, an Etsy shop update, an ongoing sale on new Fall styles (everywhere! 20% off new Fall patterns AND handknit goods!), color inspiration, & a bit of creative process. But never fear, this post is remarkably short for containing so many lovely things.
First things first, say hello to the Up North Headband! This lovely accessory features fluffy fisherman's rib with a nice simple twist that I think looks particularly excellent when it's placed where your hair naturally parts. It's uber soft & oh so cozy. It fits seamlessly into the Adventurer Collection, as it's great for packing along for trips due to it's small & squishy nature, & incredibly warm thanks to its bulky wool goodness.
I don't have time for a full color inspiration today, but luckily the 4 headbands now available for purchase on Etsy formed the most lovely warm, muted palette. The top two I naturally dyed using marigold & walnut (respectively), & the bottom two are made from already dyed Madelinetosh ASAP & Quince & Co. Puffin in the colorway root. All are wonderfully soft, & currently only $20 thanks to the Fall sale!
